%TASKID can be used to access the ID of the currently highlighted task. I would like to see %TASKPROJECT as well.

Note that you can get the project from the task ID with a bash command: {code} task _get %TASKID.project {code} That might only work on the most recent Taskwarrior version.

However, this could be a useful convenience function and make .vitrc files more readable.
