From https://github.com/tbar0970/jethro-pmm/issues/930#issuecomment-1676579815

In some cases you have all your people in one big congregation You have several services on a Sunday You want to track which service people have attended, so you have a group for each service and mark attendance for those. But you also want to easily see who hasn't been to ANY service at all recently.

Suggestion: Enhance the attendance reporting functionality of person reports so it can report on your attendance at "any group in category X". The logic, I guess, would be that attending ANY group in category X counts as being "present" at category X on that date.

Nice idea. Would it be worthwhile applying the same to 'Congregations'? (ie treat congregations like a 'category')

Your original post could be handy for tracking attendance at Bible Study, or Youth Group etc where you may have more than one group meeting at different times.

Reports filtering by attendance already work this way - "whose attendance at their congregation is less than..."

This idea sounds great I think. Once attendance of each group has been marked off (where a group represents a different service), then attendance at "congregation" that day can be set as Present. ie, if attendance at Group is Present then set attendance at Congregation as present.

This would be grand.
