To add, even if I make the above call VERY simple (just count & username as parameters) it still does the flicker of the "loading" and then a blank
I can't reproduce the problem. I just used the code snippet you provided and immediately got the tweet feed with 5 entries. Maybe that was a temprorary Twitter problem ...
The above is all I get. When I look at Firebug, I have over 90 hits remaining from my IP, and the JSON feed of tweets (more than 10!) are feeding through.
I see the "loading" flicker, then I get that blank
tag like above.
My code: $('document').ready(function(){
$('#twitter_feed').jTweetsAnywhere({ username: 'harmanlidder', count: 5, showTweetFeed: { autoConformToTwitterStyleguide: false, showTimestamp: { refreshInterval: 15 }, showTwitterBird:false, showProfileImages: true, showUserScreenNames: true, showActionReply:true, showActionRetweet:true, showActionFavorite: false, showTimestamp:true, autorefresh: { mode: 'trigger-insert', interval: 30 }, paging: { mode: 'none' } }, onDataRequestHandler: function(stats, options) { if (stats.dataRequestCount < 3) { return true; } else { stopAutorefresh(options); } } });
});
