jTweetsAnywhere will be fully functional for displaying your tweet feeds. Some of the @Anywhere features will be gone after sunsetting (Hovercards, ConnectButton), for the others I try to support equal functionality using Twitter's widgets. This will come in an update soon.
What you are talking about is Twitter's plans to let user's access the API only if they're authenticated (March 2013). We'll see if there are ways to let jTweetsAnywhere survive.
Best news I've heard all day! I'm only using the most basic functionality (showing the latest 20 tweets from our company). Thanks :)
Twitter will sunset @Anywhere in March 2013.
Hi there! I'm aware that Twitter is sunsetting @Anywhere on Dec 6th (next week). I assume this means jTweetsAnywhere will no longer be functional?
Our company has a Twitter login I can use, but even if the plugin supported it, obviously I would not want the credentials anywhere visible on the client. I'm thinking of making the Twitter call through server side code (.NET) and altering the plugin to make the server call.
I wonder how different the response looks from the Twitter api. Hopefully it's the same.
Thanks for all your efforts on this plugin, it has been great.
