I hope it is not yet stopped simply because you think that nobody is interested!!
Hi... it's abandoned only while I have other projects that I place at higher priority (which could be a while!).
if the Julia community get some ability to display simple QML file directly from Julia (with callback to Julia methods!) , it would be a great step forward!
I do see the draw for that, but it wasn't my intention. Maybe this could be an alternative library? QML.jl? In theory it wouldn't need to be very much code... enough to wrap the qmlbind API and allow for connecting Qt signals to Julia methods. My thought with Qt5.jl was closer to Gtk.jl... defining everything within Julia code.
If you want to take on the QML project, I'm sure the community would appreciate it!

It would be the ideal but it seem to be a huge task...
If you want to take on the QML project, I'm sure the community would appreciate it! Yes thanks you but I'm able to do that ;-)
So I'm probably going to suggest such a projet on de JuliaDev forum...
julia-users would probably be the right forum for that. julia-dev is for developing core julia.
Yes, but to late. sorry :-(
edit: YES, I've have resend my message on julia-users et deleted the original one from julia-dev.
Bonjour,
While trying to find some Qt5 binding for Julia, I only found your Qt5 projet which is no more active. I hope it is not yet stopped simply because you think that nobody is interested!!
So here is just an idea from someone not clever enough for doing the job ;-):
I don't know very much in Qt or QML, but if the Julia community get some ability to display simple QML file directly from Julia (with callback to Julia methods!) , it would be a great step forward!
I just found a git repository about QLM:
