Star split:2 doesn't work in IE9 #89

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open in IE9
2.class="star" works but class="star {split:2}" doesn't
3.Also causes 3 tab jquery pluggin to break in IE9

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the plugin/jQuery are you using?
