  1. I loved the beginning thoughts on binary-ness vs texture, abstraction. I loved the Gertrude Stein shoutout. I thought the comparisons between microchips and minimalism in art were cool. The whole RAMcity part was conceptually my favorite and was also the most legible for me.
  2. The piece over all is quite long, which is awesome, but made it a bit tricky to bite off in one piece. As you shifted into the lower-level concepts I started to lose focus a bit. Interestingly it seemed like at the beginning your comic was text-centric, and as you explained the NAND / XOR stuff it became illustration-centric. I wonder if in a subtle way this shift was part of my struggle to stay focused. (For what it's worth a lot of this stuff was new to me!)
  3. In a way my experience of the chapters was less like a curriculum or a narrative, and more like multiple facets or lenses to look at the same thing. In that sense the transitions didn't feel like they needed bridging.
  4. The dumpling analogy didn't quite click for me. I loved the illustrations though!
