On Privy, I've applied the delegated ani to vertical groups, which caused animations to happen staggered, except when they were already staggered like buttons; the solve was to check the parent element for a sequence style, and start children at that offset.
Think this though though: it may not work everywhere, e.g. deeply nested blocks (do I care?) or sibling delegated blocks (e.g. parent block 2 delays 2, child 1 delays 2 and child 2 delays 3, then parent block 3 would again delay 3 (the previous block's children don't influence the outer count).
