Could this app be modified to provide support for a wifi ipad?

The latest version works with my wifi ipad, pointing to the http.pac file on the phone, however it is restricted to http activities. Anybody got the SOCK working for the ipad to allow all apps to work?

Is it possible to go directly from your iPhone to your iPad without the use of a computer?
