I can't get it working :(. Not awesome enough to know why.

A lion walkthrough for noobs would be so great.

I found nothing different building/installing iProxy on Snow Leopard or Lion. Can you describe a specific problem?

I wasn't able to get it to work on Lion until I used the Automatic Proxy Configuration option that was described. Using the IP address didn't work for me. Did you get stuck at some point in the configuration process?

It's been a while, but I recall it taking me two or three tries to get it going. I know that opening email and Skype kills the connection so I make sure all internet apps are closed. I also manually set the iPad's ip address.

I follow the same sequence each time and it works flawlessly (http, not socks). I choose the special network config on my mac just for this, connect the iPad, then everything works.

However, lately, I've set up an old router so that I now connect the iPad wirelessly to the router first, then plug the wire into the mac...much simpler. As well, I can connect my phone and other devices that allow proxy configs.
