Netbeans "Open File" with "Maximize use of native look and feel" on #35

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open NetBeans (I'm currently using NetBeans 8.0 with Oracle 8)
2. Go to File -> Open File
3. Crash (or hang and show nothing

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The Open File dialog to work properly

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Latest PPA as of right now, using Ubuntu 13.10.

Please provide any additional information below.

It only happens when I have "Maximize use of native look and feel" in the Options -> Appearance Tab. I would like to note that it works every time without the Ayatana plugin.

I'm not sure if the error can be fixed, because the Java Ayatana initialize its
own gthread and the netbeans initialize your own gthread too, and it create a
lock.
