GBIF has 3D models and doesn't really know what to do with them #124

At TDWG 2018, Matt Blisset noted that GBIF had a small number of 3d models, but didn't really know how to handle them. Also noted, if there were a IIIF viewer, they wouldn't have to reinvent it for display of 3D images.

The media types for 3D models known to the 3D Task Group have been added to the proposal for controlled vocabulary for dcterms:format, https://github.com/tdwg/ac/issues/171. The other aspects of this issue involving GBIF's media viewers and the availability of IIIF viewers for 3D models are out of scope for the Audubon Core MG. So I am closing this issue now.
