Tracking of downloads, as by GBIF. #175

GBIF generates DOIs for each download. I understand there is a cost involved. If so, perhaps consider a subscription level of membership. People are impressed when I tell them that even HARG, a herbarium of 500 specimens, has been cited at least 6 times. The information is from GBIF. It would also help people in annual reports for their collection.

Oh blast. John, I am sorry. This was intended for the Symbiota 2 group. My profound apologies. And I was so proud of finding the issues button! So proud I overlooked the detail that I might be no the wrong part of GitHub. This is probably only the second time I have used GitHub. Mary
