Processed variables: concentration of zooplankton #204

Hi! This is my first question/issue so please let me know if there are any formatting problems.

I am attempting to map some zooplankton data products to dwc names. The data is a processed form of zooplankton observations. During the processing the data is 'binned' into depth sections and a concentration of each taxonomic group is calculated (the number of organisms / sampled volume [m3]).

I'm wondering if there is a standard way of representing this and what the naming convention might be?

Please let me know if you need additional information.

Thanks!

@EOGrady21 We have a section on zooplankton data and Darwin Core in the OBIS manual, with reference to Best practices and recommendations for plankton imaging data management: Ensuring effective data flow towards European data infrastructures.

Please let us know if you have any questions about any of this.

Thank you! This is great info. It seems like these resources would point to using BODC::P01 name (SDBIOL01) to describe the abundance data.
