6 years ago A new document has been added to issue #15. We won't discuss the entire document at the meeting, but it would be good if we can make progress on the TaxonomicName and TaxonomicNameUsage classes.

The meeting will only have one main agenda item: discussion of the straw man specification at https://github.com/tdwg/tnc/blob/master/specification/tnu.adoc (see also #15). We will go over it property by property.
Also, the deadline for submission of proposals for break-out session at biodiversity_next (TDWG 2019) has been extended to 9 Dec., so there is still time to comment on the proposal (see #13). We won't spend any time on it at the meeting unless there is strong disagreement with the abstract I wrote.
@jgerbracht had some good comments on the charter (see #12), which made me think we might want to spend some time on properly rewriting the charter. We'll postpone that to the first meeting in the new year, so we can move on with the TCS replacement for now.

The next meeting of the TNC will be Tuesday, 4 December 2018 at 20:00 UTC. Times for other time zones are in the table below.
We will be discussing properties of the TaxonomicName and TaxonomicNameUsage classes and hopefully make some real progress towards a working document by the end of the year.
