Consider using SKOS-XL for labels #25

Thanks for the example! You made a much better one than I could have constructed. Your example illustrates, or could be extended to illustrate how the skosxl:Label instances could be used to make additional statements about the various labels. I can see two important uses:

  1. In the place of your rdfs:comment statements, link the label to a controlled vocabulary that indicates the type of label, e.g. IPNI preferred form, form for bibliographic citation, etc. This would facilitate machine-retrieval of the desired form, or enabling a website to display the label in the form preferred by the user.

  2. In a case like ex:60b5d31d-90ca-5e4d-a56e-e74fe9adb684, the ability to create a link between an erroneous label and its source.
