M92 not returning E-steps on FLSUN QQS #416

Hi

My first stage of following the calibration pages was to look at e-steps. Issued M92 per the instructions but instead of getting back e-steps I get: Send: M92 Recv: ok 2 Send: M105 Recv: ok 2 Recv: T:24.31 /0 B:24.03 /0 B@:0 @:0 Recv: wait Recv: wait

The alternative M503 returns the following: Send: M503 Recv: ok 2 Recv: Unknown command:M503 Send: M105 Recv: ok 2 Recv: T:24.44 /0 B:24.03 /0 B@:0 @:0

I have not entered M105, this is returned by the printer to me. If even M503 doesn't work, how to set about calibrating this thing at all?
