video ad is not playing

Hello, the video ad is not working, SDK version is the last one 5.0.15 besides this problem, I noticed when the validation mode is enabled, the popIn validation is launched/shown several times and when I click on abort button, the video screen ad becomes black and nothing is visible. this is the logcat output:

If I understood it well, you reported two points.

About the first one [the video ad is not working, SDK version is the last one 5.0.15], could you provide me more information? Are you using a PROD pid or a TEST pid? There is an error you were able to see in the logcat? Could you share it if yes? I did some regular tests with 5.0.15 version and I faced no issue.

About the second point, you are seeing the popup validation many times because probably you have many ads in the screen. Try to use only one for the test, then you will see only one popup. And once you abort the validation it is normal to see the black frame in the video, because the process was interrupted.

@ibelhouchet The popup from the validation mode asks you to open the url (https://sdkvalidation.teads.tv/[code]) on your computer. When you do it, what are the results of the tests in the webpage?

Do you tried to launch the test with only one ad? I see in the picture that you have two. Could you repeat the test with only one?
And just to make it clear, the video fails only when you are on the validation mode? Or it fails even when it is not enabled?

And just to make it clear, the video fails only when you are on the validation mode? Or it fails even when it is not enabled? --> the ad is failing in the both cases. when I activate the validation mode, the ad is still visible but not playing. in the case where the validation mode was disabled, the video frame is empty, white color

Sorry but we are still not able to identify your issues. Lets go on with some suggestions and questions:

See that in this repo https://github.com/teads/TeadsSDK-android we have functional examples about how to implement your ads. Ensure that your implementation match the examples.
Do you have some transparent view over the ad?
Meanwhile we can try to help you debugging the issue if you provide us an apk with debug mode enabled and with the follow pid set in the ads requests: 84242

Hello @github-lucas-bon , Finally we solved the problem by putting the the teads holder at the foreground of our UI hierarchy. Thank you again for your help.

Oh I see, I am glad you solved the issue. It makes sense, a common solution for your issue is to ensure that there is no view over the the view which holds the ad.
