Spawn Eggs Again won't work

Okay...I clicked those commands when the spawn eggs were made. Right away I had a pig invasion. I didn't have my swineherder or cowboy hut yet, so I didn't use the spawn eggs. Pigs wandered around my village, but I haven't seen them lately and I didn't think about it....I think since the last update.

I just built my Swineherder and cowboy huts and I attempted to use the spawn eggs and as again, there was no spawns for either.....I attempted to remove them from blacklist and it told me the were not on the blacklist. I'm confused?

You capitalized the names? Also that is very weird. I have updated my instance with no issues once they are open

Edit: however each update actually overwrites the configs. Normally that isn’t a problem but with this it would be

Oh, I may have forgotten to capitalize it in the commands. Is there a way to have a repeatable quest that is triggered when spawn eggs are made and people can redo it after an update to re- trigger the commands. Seems like I remember that on a modpack, but I can't remember which quest book was used.

Edit: I did forget to capitalize it. They are spawning again.

I have added repeatable quests for the updates to solve this issue

Do they have the spawn eggs in the repeatable quests? I think people will lose their animals when they update until they can do the quest.

No that could be exploited since I have to make the quest repeatable. They could get free spawn eggs every minute lol. I wish the mod allowed per world configs but it was the best I could find in 1.10.2

Okay....we can remake the spawn eggs. And I agree, it could be exploited.

Yeah...and if you give the ingredients to make the spawn eggs...people would exploit that.... :frowning_face: At least the command will be there for people to make them spawnable again. I had no problem with pigs....I just needed to make cows again. Those fields really helped me....I have green fields instead of wasteland...maybe a couple fields for spawning? Won't always work for spawning animals, but it would give more grass without bonemeal to make more fields to increase chance of spawning animals, depending on biome. They could be exploited to...but they are easily made. My whole town is covered with fields I made. As you can see in my picture...it is winter, but it is covered and fields and I have pigs spawning naturally. I made dirt from leveling wasteland, and growing trees...a couple bonemeal to start and it was easy to do.

It is interesting that pigs seem to spawn the most lol. I have yet to see a cow, sheep or chicken naturally spawn in my grassy areas.

Me either...I just thought it was because I was in the forest biome...Are chickens blacklisted? I haven't come across the quest for them yet

oh and i cannot give grassy plains either. That blueprint doesn't have a unique ID thanks to the mod dev

chickens and sheep are blacklisted and will be opened up later in the city chapter

Okay...I forgot..the repeatable quest..will it be available after the first time you get the spawn eggs? I can see people doing it before they have even done the spawn eggs.

it is only available after you have completed the spawn egg quest. So the chicken and sheep will only open after you have completed that quest and the same for the cow and pig.

I just had a natural chicken spawn hehe.

That is good...I haven't gotten that far yet. Almost there. Yeah...I am surprised I haven't had a cow spawn.

I bypassed the issue by just going into the mod list and taking the cow and pig off the black list manually lol.

I finally was able to make the chicken and sheep spawn eggs and the commands to remove the sheep and chicken from the blacklist did not work. I was waiting for them to show up in the chat but they didn't. I had to manually enter the command.
