Describe the bug
When attempting to load any page in the editor, i get a memory exhausted error and the Elementor editor does not work.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Edit any existing page in the Elementor editor
The page loads, but the control panel spins forever.
Expected behavior
I except it to allow me to edit the page and show no errors in the error log.
Screenshots
Desktop (please complete the following information):
OS: Ubuntu 20.08 Focal Fossa
Browser Chrome
Elementor Version 3.0.13
HappyAddons Version 2.15.0
Other 3rd party addons or Elementor Pro or HappyAddons Pro version
Elementor Pro: 3.0.6
Happy Elementor Addons Pro: 1.11.1
Additional context
The page loads in the editor and front end. But the control panel on the side spins forever. In logs, i see that the memory has been exhausted while trying to do an ajax request. It comes back with a 500 status error. This is no matter how much i increase wordpress' memory and php's memory (up to 512 MB).
i have disabled all plugins except Elementor, Elementor Pro, and Happy Elementor Addons
I traced the problem down to retrieving meta data for the News Ticker widget. I am not using the News Ticker widget on any of my pages. the issue comes up on all pages.
