Happy Clone of an Elementor model doesn't respect the type of element #85

Open toopixel opened 4 years ago

toopixel commented 4 years ago

When cloning an Elementor model, for example of modal popup, the Happy Clone feature always fallback to a page instead of keeping the initial cloned element type. And once it's cloned there's no possibility to change the type to any other thing.

This bug occurs for all types of Elementor models, also for Unique types and all others.

I am not sure that such answers really help. There's a bug, I explained well in details where and how it happen, please try the way I described it to reproduce. It's not hosting related.

sw0rking commented 4 years ago

in the elementor templates copying type popups > it turns out a copy with the page type and how to further try to change the type I do not know in the elementor pro

toopixel commented 4 years ago

And for me it don't, see screenshot made just now, original is below and above the happy cloned version with type Page instead of modal window type: https://prnt.sc/qgmmjn
