This is a big one, and there are many ways to do this.

Why we need an accounts system:

• Facilitate matchmaking
• Track achievements
• Sync games across devices (bittorrent sync aka personal cloud)
• Allow and track users uploading content for Phoenix (texture packs, themes, ROM hacks, etc)

Ways to implement this:

• Rent a VPS Pros: simple to do? Cons: $$$, vulnerable to DDoS
• Use DHT Pros: good luck bringing that down Cons: how hell will this even work?
