Possible home page image replacements #75

I made an attempt to enhance the images seen on the homepage of the site. I can go more or less intense with stylization as necessary.

If possible, he should be provided with the full size images.

Sure! In fact, here's what I do for my blog: I pull images from Tumblr. Of course, it's my own photoblog, so that's ok. If you want to set up palyrobotics.tumblr.com and open it up for posting, you can write JS that fills the slideshows with the latest photos.

@42mileslong please use these images on the frontpage; get them from GitHub, then use cURL or Cyberduck or something to upload/DL onto server.

Are we still using orbit sliders there? Because Johnny said we're using lightbox.

I personally think orbit sliders would be good where we already have filler images, and lightbox slideshows elsewhere in the page.

Images, and once we get more pictures, MAYBE orbit.

The images are at the bottom on small (if that's what you're talking about) because Chris wanted the content to be in the upper 2/3, and if we have the images interspersed then you have to scroll through all of them to check whether or not there is more content.

Better images for the home page Planning to put in orbit sliders (will pull from tumbler) Content being more important than putting in orbit sliders Whether or not we are using orbit sliders or lightbox Why all the images are at the bottom (I'm assuming we're taking about on the small page)

When you shrink the home page, all the images move to the bottom. I'm assuming that's what he's talking about.

Chris said to put the content in the upper 2/3, and not to have images blocking it. When we have images interspersed, you have to scroll a lot to reach any content.

Linking index.html images to the github cloud images here. Will put on the server once I get cyberduck working.

Added the images, but they are linked to the github cloud... however that should be temporary
