[Feature] special characters - German umlaut [sf#6] #50

Open teambob opened 9 years ago

Reported by arnold38 on 2005-03-31 03:33 UTC I've been trying to convert some German html to plain text or RTF, but in either case, the output is missing all of the German extra characters such as umlauts and sharp s.

Not sure if this should be reported as a bug or feature request ;-)

RTF to HTML: bug RTF to text: feature request

The next version is scheduled to have the internationalisation code revamped in the engine. See also: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=969349&group\_id=96923&atid=616367 http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1180687&group\_id=96923&atid=616367

Numeric codes were not supported in the html reader. This has been fixed for 3.1.2
