Flying to other countries is the time when people need to exchange buy/sell all kinds of fiat currencies (from/to Bitcoin, fiat currencies, or shitcoins).
The exchanges in airports get monopolist privileges and take huge fees.
And even if you don't need to exchange money, and just have few hours to spend in an airport waiting for a connection flight, it would be great to meet Bitcoiners from other countries.
Describe the solution you'd like
The basic solution would be placing every international airport on the map, with a link to a Telegram group managed by btcmap.org.
Another improvement could be having a push notification when you arrive an airport, because users might forget about this feature after they have installed the Android/iOS app (but please find a way to do that without uploading users' location data to servers).
Describe alternatives you've considered
Developing a website/app just for this feature. But I think it would be better as part of btcmap.org.
It could be nice to if the chat groups will be internal to btcmap.org and not externally via Telegram - but it's not critical.
Also, you could have an anti-spam bot that would ask for few sats to enter the group - which could be a small revenue stream for you guys.
