Thank you for this pull request - it seem reasonable (although at least for me double digit numbers where already fully visible).

Hm Could've been a resolution issue then my monitors run at 2560x1440.

Yes and it should also depend on the OS - PyQt5 looks for example different on Windows and Unix.
