Option added to set the sender name and email address for notifications in the Settings page of the Config/ Self-service database. This page must be edited through a web interface (log in to the Config/ Self-service database with an admin account).
It appears that notifications from Continuity are sometimes blocked by the receiving mail servers. This might have to do with the sender address of those notifications (currently no-reply@continuity.com).
