PeopleTec is currently seeking a Basic Entry Level Engineer to support our Missile Defense Agency (MDA) International Engineering operations in Huntsville Alabama.
Job Description:
Support the MDA U.S.-Israeli Cooperative Program Office (MDA/IP) Upper Tier Product Office (IPU), and other MDA/IP Government Leads, as required. Job duties may include the following engineering tasks. Directly support MDA/IPU activities in an effort to increase the robustness of joint U.S.-Israeli Upper Tier Missile Defense Programs. Lead PeopleTec contractor support for joint U.S.-Israeli engineering testing efforts at Government Agency or Contractor Test Facilities. Facilitate planning, logistics, and execution with Government Agencies and Contractors to include weekly tag-ups, Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), and future testing meetings; track action items to closure. Assist in building executive-level briefings for MDA senior leadership, such as pre-mission flight test status, technical updates, and risk briefings. Review technical documents, such as System Readiness Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR); provide comments, and consolidate comments from other IP personnel for review by the IPU Chief Engineer and IPU Program Manager. Conduct CONUS and OCONUS travel to support engineering and production meetings, program reviews, and co-production activities. Provide detailed meeting minutes and executive summaries to catalogue critical meeting actions and events for MDA/IP leadership. Provide Weekly Activity Report (WAR) inputs for specific programmatic areas of interest to MDA/IP leadership.
Travel Requirements:
30% to 40% to various locations to include contractor and government facilities, integration sites, manufacturing sites and test sites within the United States and overseas.
Required Skills/Experience:
Capable of conducting system-level engineering analysis and assessments.
Prepare engineering design review entry and exit criteria, technical summaries, and action item status lists, and track actions through closure.
Assess whether entry and exit criteria are met and recommend approaches to close identified gaps.
Assist in preparing Plans of Action and Milestones and closure packages.
Capable of working independently, or as a team member, to solve engineering problems
Ability to plan, coordinate and support engineering activities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
A self-starter with excellent people, organizational, and communication skills
Experience with the Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office suite to include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to obtain, and maintain, a U.S. Passport
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance and maintain this level of clearance during employment.

Education Requirements:
Education/Experience: BS degree in an engineering discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Aerospace, Chemical, etc.) with 0 to 3 years of experience.
