Key Responsibilities:

Primarily responsible for providing leadership, vision, direction, and planning for the Software Engineering Division.

Ensures overall success, productivity, and growth of the Software Engineering Division.
Develops and maintains strong relationships with customers and identifies opportunities for growth
Participates in strategic planning and collaborate with other Directors and the President to set the direction of the company
Champions for corporate culture, core values, mission and vision
Meets Division corporate goals 
Provides support to the Business Development team to allow CSSA to grow in a direction consistent with the business plan
Makes recommendations to improve processes, increase efficiency and profitability, and increase customer satisfaction 
Participates in corporate initiatives
Provides leadership, management and oversight to direct reports to ensure customer and employee requirements are met
Mentors direct reports and grow leaders
Supports recruiting activities

A secondary responsibility:

Secures direct work with Software Engineering Division customers and perform tasks in support of them

Education and Experience:

A BA/BS degree from an ABET accredited college in a Systems or Software Engineering related field, or Computer Science is required
This position requires a minimum of 15 years of overall engineering experience and an additional 12 years of executive leadership and management experience. A master's degree in Engineering or an MBA is highly desirable.

Knowledge/Skills:

Extensive experience in managing engineering teams
Extensive Software Engineering experience as a practitioner and as a manager
Extensive experience working as a government contractor in the engineering domain
Extensive experience in NASA and DoD
Extensive experience in senior-level leadership positions

Occasional Travel is required (up to 10%)

U.S. Citizenship is required

Candidate must obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
