Jr .NET Developer 0-2 yrs experience

Cybernetic Retail is a boutique retail consultation firm. We employ experts in all operational segments of retail from merchandising, point of sale (POS), warehouse systems, sales audit, loss prevention, customer relationship management (CRM), accounting, enterprise selling (Omni Channel), and e-commerce. We provide our clients with strategic planning, business process reviews, custom system solutions, and provide an easy to use tool set to grow sales and drive efficiency. We currently have clients nationwide including California, Florida, Maryland, Texas, New York and Massachusetts.

About Position

Position: Entry Level .NET Developer Experience Level: 0 - 2 Years Area of Interest: Information Technology Travel Required: No Location: Madison, AL area Job Type: Full Time

Responsibilities: • Work with project management and systems analyst to understand development requirements • Assist with developing new applications while being mentored by more experienced developers • Modify existing applications and integration feeds as directed • Write SQL for reports and applications • Create and modify reports (Crystal Reports and SSRS) • Troubleshoot and help resolve technical issues • Assist with QA testing • May assist with documenting development and technical requirements • May assist with writing user guides • Write application release notes

Qualifications: • Programming Languages: C#, Visual Basic, HTML, CSS, XML • Database: Microsoft SQL Server o Ability to write basic SQL queries • Software: Microsoft Visual Studio, Crystal Reports is a plus • Desire to understand existing client systems and custom solutions in place • Desire to learn new skills and technology • Excellent communication skills • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills • Ability to work in a team environment and deal with different personality types • Comfortable with providing feedback on system improvement suggestions • Ability to take direction and constructive feedback from senior employees and management • Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time • May be required to work nights and weekends depending on the project or critical system issues • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, MIS, Computer Science, or related field • Retail experience is a plus
