PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior IV&V Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

PeopleTec is seeking a candidate to support Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of the missile defense programs for the U.S. Army. This position will involve support of prime software products through all phases of software development life cycle, including software specifications, software design, software coding, and software testing. The selected candidate will support independent assessments through review, analysis and evaluation of system development artifacts of BMDS systems including C2BMC, GMD, BMDS Sensors and Targets for flight tests. The selectee will perform evaluation of developer traceability, implementation, and verification adequacy of the system and software requirements. As needed evaluate the element and sub-element level end-to-end verification to ensure the prime developer planning and compliance is sufficient and complete to meet the system level requirements. The candidate will be responsible for providing feedback via written reports and briefings to the government across multiple areas being assessed. The selected candidate will also support developer meetings, integrated product teams (IPTs) and boards such as a Configuration Change Board (CCB), as well as key program milestones such as the Software Readiness Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR) and Test Readiness Review (TRR)

Required Skills/Experience:

5 years of relative experience.
Experience in Missile Defense Programs and be knowledgeable about military programs such as GMD, C2BMC, THAAD and BMDS Radars.
IV&V experience with evaluating PIDS, CIDS, SRS and IRS requirements against System Specification requirements to ensure testability and traceability.
IV&V experience evaluating software requirements for completeness, correctness, consistency, accuracy, and readability and testability.
IV&V background should include test witnessing, test analysis, test plan analysis, system design analysis.
Familiarity with software architecture, systems engineering, software integration, and verification and validation.
Strong writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with ability to interact well in group meeting/working environments.

Must be a U.S. Citizen
An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

A completed Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Master's Degree preferred.

Desired Skills:

Experience in BMDS systems and operations and domain knowledge and experience with at least two elements of the operational BMDS.
Past/present IV&V experience on large weapon systems programs.
