PeopleTec is currently seeking a .NET Software Developer to support our corporate infrastructure team in Huntsville, AL.
The candidate will be responsible for developing .NET solutions supporting both on premise and cloud applications supporting corporate specific data analysis and software development efforts. The .NET Developer will maintain a strong understanding of industry and enterprise-wide trends. Candidate must be able to translate the Management and end user requirements into software development solutions / designs. Candidate must be able to develop software application solutions based on system design requirements. Candidate will work with corporate management, to include all internal PeopleTec departments.
Required Skills/Experience:
Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC) 5 years of development experience using C# .NET Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3 Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC) Understanding of Agile methodologies Strong attention to detail Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills Knowledge of REST and RPC APIs Must possess several attributes including strong attention to detail, a "can-do" attitude, be a team player, a self-starter, exemplify service before self, and maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality. Able to root out an issue and provide options to internal and external stakeholders. Likes a variety of projects and tasks Can manage multiple tasks and deliverables Ability to operate autonomously in a dynamic environment, yet collaborate as an effective team member across the IT, corporate, and BU organizations Travel: None Must be a U.S. Citizen
Education Requirements:
A completed Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Business Administration, and / or experience in the development of Software Applications or related technical disciplines and minimum of 5+ years of experience required. An additional 4+ years of software engineering / development experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Desired Skills:
Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows as well as development of Business Intelligence dashboards. Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, design skills, and ability to multitask Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint (Using, Development, API programming, CSOM). Experience with Microsoft products, including Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server. Experience with development in compliance with NIST 800-171 requirements.
