PeopleTec is currently seeking a Software and Avionics SME to support our Huntsville, AL location.
We are looking for an aviation software and avionics subject matter expert with experience developing and decomposing requirements for rotorcraft systems. The candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed software architecture design analysis, managing Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) strategy, and supporting requirements development experience). Candidate must have a strong understanding of the Army Aviation enterprise with competency in early acquisition life cycle development programs. Candidate must also possess demonstrated experience in developing and documenting interfaces, validation and verification, and test and evaluation of software and avionics systems.
Required Skills/Experience:
10+ years of Software and Avionics Development, Integration, and Qualification Experience 10+ years of Requirements Development and Decomposition Experience 10+ years of Army Aviation Acquisition Experience Travel: 20% Must be a U.S. Citizen An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Science and 15+ years of experience is required.
