PeopleTec is currently seeking an Aircraft Software Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

The successful candidate will perform duties as a software engineer in support of PEO Aviation on Redstone Arsenal, AL.

Required Skills/Experience:

DAU Systems Engineering processes experience or knowledge 
FAA DO-178 and DO-330 experience or knowledge 
Agile Software Development Process experience or knowledge 
Propulsion Systems experience or knowledge 
Avionics and embedded systems experience or knowledge 
An understanding of ARINC429 and/or MIL-STD-1553
Travel: Up to 20% as required
Must be a U.S. Citizen
An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

BS in a STEM field of study and 12+ years of relevant experience.

Desired Skills:

Experience working in PEO Aviation 
Experience working with aircraft avionics and software 
Aircraft Health Management Systems and ground station software experience 
Vibration and Dynamics experience 
Systems Integration Lab development and coordination experience
