iOS 9.3 #31

Hi there,

We recently updated our freshchat plugin in an ionic/cordova app to the most recent version, but since then our app has failed to start up on iOS 9.3 (e.g., on an iPhone 4s). We just get a "white screen of death" at startup. There are no errors in the console. It seems like it's crashing before the JavaScript part of the app is running.

If we remove the freshchat plugin it works fine. And it worked fine with the older version. Also, it's fine on Android, and on newer versions of iOS.

Has anyone else experienced a problem like this? Maybe it's something we're doing wrong in the initialisation?

Can anyone confirm that it does work OK for them on an iPhone with iOS 9.3?

@techaffinity Can you confirm that the plugin is working OK with iOS 9.3?

Does anyone else have this problem? We're keen to get a fix for these devices as currently our app is unusable on iPhone 4s and iPhone 5

This is reproducible for us in the iOS siumulator and on real devices using iOS 9.3, such as iPhone 4s and iPhone 5.

Seems ironic that this plugin is all about customer support, yet none is available for the plugin itself!!

@techaffinity @MuthuFD @shagulameedn Is it possible anyone can check this on iOS 9.3 and fix if necessary? Or, at least, confirm that you aren't going to if that's the case? We need to know what's going on here for our product, which is currently broken on iPhone 4s and iPhone 5.
