NodeJS <10 have reached EOL and 10 is already to be scheduled to be EOL in April 2021.
Travis testing only covers 4, 6 & 8 at the moment, so it might be time to update this to ensure nothing breaks on newer versions of node (testing on older versions doesn't have to be removed, it might actually be good).
