"Use voice for self" not working properly

The "use voice for self" option in the advanced section is not functioning properly. When selected it will only play George English male despite the other options I put in. I must turn off "Random voice" to hear the voice I have selected for myself. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Any updates on this? I love the plugin, but this would make it 100% better.

I've looked through the code and my settings.properties, and I noticed that the voice.config is not being saved in the runelite settings properly. Not sure if that helps narrow down the issue.

@Tedberto does your RSN contain spaces and is the account normal or some ironman variant?

@Captain-Seli is that specific to the voice setting or any setting?

Can you explain how exactly, the settings should be for it to work? The buttons in the interface are a little unclear.

Voice: I assume this is the voice my player character is supposed to use when "use voice for self with random voice" is checked, but "use voice with random voice" seems like it should use a random voice, and not the selected voice?

Anyway, I can change all voices to be one I select, but then everyone sounds the same, and I don't want that. I just want to change my own voice.

I am trying to use Ayumi Japanese Female as my player character's voice. So I set Voice to that, and then checked "Use voice for self with random voice" but my player character's voice remains the same as it was originally given. I uncheck the same setting, and nothing changes.

EDIT: Here are my logs. I've parsed them, but can't find anything that sticks out to me as related to TTS, but maybe you can see.

Another question I have is: Is there a way to expand the amount of random voices that are assigned to players? It would be awesome to have the full suite of available voices assigned randomly to other players. Currently, it is restricted to a handful, which I think is related to the "Random voice language" setting.

your settings look fine, and there currently isn't a way to have the random voice setting ignore the language and gender

found a bug where use voice for self doesn't have any impact if RSN contains a space - will create fix shortly
