PROTOBUF_PROTOC_EXECUTABLE-NOTFOUND: not found #5

Hi, 
Thank you very much for open sourcing Ceres. I'm currently attempting 
to build the library. All external libraries have been correctly 
detected. However the build fails (please see below). Thank you in 
advance for any suggestions!

I am able to replicate this bug. Looking at it now.

So there is something odd going on here. On linux things work, on macos I get 
similar problems. This looks like a cmake issue.

Ajay,
this is the wrong issue thread. 

your -DGLOG_LIB and -DGFLAG_LIB flags need to point to the actual library (.a) 
file. Also if they are actually in /usr/lib, cmake should be able to find them.

could you try the latest release to see if you are still getting this problem? 
I believe the latest cmake updates should fix this.
