Consider just cacheing a set of results as s3 bucket of json/flat data, pull down that results, do some local queries. Could do git repository as well. Look at how terraform does it.

env var based config or yml based. yml would be nice for config and version control.
go, efficient
jam stack reporting. server side generated pages?
some kind of sqs queue for processing incoming requests?
api keys?
alerting based on configurable values
scoring based on health
opinionated sensible defaults
