Reading commands in edit fields except character is currently broke #419

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. type some text in a edit field such as something simple as android's new 
messenging app in Lollipop.
2. Just touch above the keyboard in the edit field and invoke the local context 
menu
3. When the local context menu's circle appears move in a circle until you hear 
"granularity " Lift your finger and another circle will appear slect an option 
other then character and attempt to read by swiping left or right or use volume 
keys up down.  You will hear one word red out by talkback.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I want to hear as I am swiping or using my volume keys the whole intire text 
red out by the granularity I selected.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Lollipop 5.1

Please provide any additional information below.
I am using a Nexus6 purchase via US T-Mobile when I see the results written 
above.

I'm having this issue on a samsung note 2 phone running 4.4.2 and a nexus 10 
tablet running 5.0.1 both devices are running talk back beta 4.1.0.

What I see as characters being read by talk back when attempting to edit text 
and edit field such as the American Foundation twined note taking app just 
currently released to Android and other feels like your text messaging app. You 
can't change the granularity I'm change it to word sentence and expect to edit 
text it will only say one word. When voting different granularity choices it 
prevents pot back from moving through the different and it filled via the 
granularity that has been chosen by the user me. Example: word does not move 
word by word only one word the same for the rest of the granularity except for 
characters then when characters chosen you're able to buy characters does the 
only for a night vision in the current made it talk back that you are able to 
edit text and read text
