Additional Game Information #200

I don't think anyone has setup anything like this on a network level, but
even being able to do it locally would be neat:

a system where you could set/download the ratings for each game, the number
of players supported, peripherals supported and if it has online play (IE
other information you might find on the back of the box)

That way then you could search based on these criteria in an iTunes like
fashion.

Until there is not a service that permits to gather such information, we can't
do
anything.

but it would be very helpful to see if this game is ntsc or pal. because i have
to switch console language to run ntsc games, but if i forget it to make these
settings, my wii stops working and i have to unplug the power cable.
might only be a suggestions.

greets

I can see what you mean, F1SHE4RS, would it be possible to add two suggested
enhancements in 1 package, being the animated opening of the case to view of
internal
disk and insert side. Disk side hover over disk, disk spins, clicking "A"
launches
game, same animation of disk spinning off to the right, on the insert side
normally
where in the real case you would have manual etc have Game details such as
number of
players for the game, if have a wifi mode, type of game eg simulation, sport,
party
etc and whether games require nunchuck, user would be able to choose these
themselves
in advanced mode locking them in parental mode, this would also perhaps then
allow
the filtering option also mentioned here as a good idea, filter would use those
fields to sort by genre or number of players.

If this could be done, that actually 3 ideas I have seen here rolled into one
1/ Animated cover opening to 2 side internal view

2/ Filtering, allowing users to filter different game genres, player numbers or
periferal requirements

3/ Additional game info ( not network set ) user set and saved
