Wad works fine, but forwarder carsh at startup

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start coverfloader with channel forwarder.
2. Status bar will start for a little bit then it'll crash and wii freezed.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
coverfloader should at least start like the normal wad channel

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I've tried 1.2 and 1.2a both behave the same way with forwarder channel not
working, but regular channel works.

Please provide any additional information below.
I don't think this is an issue with the covers and all that, cuz I've also
tried the forwarder without any cover art on the SD card.
