Booting to r1023 with Preloader #436

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Booting to preloader and choosing a dol to load or booting straight to
dol assigned in preloader

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
code dump after "loading textures" just when hd starts to spin.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r1023, preloader v0.29, systemmenu 4.2e if I remember correctly.

Please provide any additional information below.
This works on my old 1.1 but not with r1023. Also, r1023 is working just
fine from homebrew channel.
