Character count WITH spaces #370

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

I am writing a big report in LaTeX and am using this extension for vs code. However, I just found out the Char count is WITHOUT spaces. It turns out I wrote 2 pages too many on my report, because of that.

Describe the solution you'd like

Would be awesome with a character count that includes spaces.

Since we use texcount to do the counting, it is not currently possible to do this. Feel free to open a new issue if you figure out how to make texcount count spaces.
