Here are some animation "vignettes" we should build to add character and humor to the scene. Some require new models.
Based on the information from the Little Miami River website, here are some native animals that could be featured in the animation, along with some creative animation suggestions:
Smallmouth Bass (Fish): Known for their fighting spirit, a smallmouth bass could be shown leaping out of the water to catch a fly, only to land on a lily pad and cause a frog to jump in surprise.
Northern Cardinal (Bird): A bright red cardinal could be shown singing a tune, with other animals reacting or dancing to the rhythm.
Beaver: A beaver could be shown busily constructing a dam, with comedic mishaps like logs falling in unexpected ways or the beaver sliding off the dam.
Bullfrog: The bullfrog could be shown participating in a "jumping contest" with fish, with humorous results.
White-tailed Deer: A deer could be shown cautiously approaching the river to drink, only to be startled by a fish jumping out of the water.
Mink: The mink, a playful creature, could be shown stealing a fish from the beaver's pile, leading to a humorous chase scene.
Great Blue Heron (Bird): The heron could be shown standing perfectly still, then suddenly diving its head into the water to catch a fish, causing a big splash that surprises other animals.
River Otter: The otter could be shown sliding down the riverbank into the water, perhaps colliding with the beaver or other animals in a playful manner.
Muskellunge (Fish): A muskellunge, a large predatory fish, could be shown sneaking up on smaller fish, only to be scared away by the sudden appearance of the beaver or otter.
Eastern Box Turtle: The turtle could be shown slowly but determinedly making its way to the river, oblivious to the faster-paced antics of the other animals, perhaps even becoming an unintentional obstacle in their activities.
