Excel connector hangs post i enter user name and password #66

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Enter user name and password
2.click on Log in
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? the expected output is - 
table of objects should openup for selection. instead the output is - The Excel 
hangs and after a couple of minutes the Error is - Eror generated by 
Request::Service Unavailable Exception Code : 503

What version of the product are you using?  - SForce Office Toolkit v3.0
On what operating system? - WindowsXP
With what Salesforce.com edition? - Enterprise Edition

Please provide any additional information below.- this is the 1st time I ma 
facing this issue. i am heavily dependant on this field for my day to day work. 
please resolve this ASAP

looks like you hit a system that was offline, is this still failing ?
