Develop Specification for Abstract Models #74

Recently the need for "abstract models"- models which will never get saved or 
loaded but which 
provide functionality for children models- came up in a side project which 
ended up in us 
enhancing that aspect of the system. 

Despite the fact that we already manage this, it seems that a specification is 
in order to deal with 
certain issues that came up and to define how we want to extend this 
functionality further.
