Edit the "Places" list #244

There is no way to add/remove from the "Places" list. This forces me to have directories like "Videos" and "Public" listed which I don't have, so they are entries that are not working. I tried disabling it and just using Bookmarks, but it's impossible to bookmark directories that are in "Places", so I can't bookmark my "Pictures" or "Documents" directories which I actually do have.

Why are "Places" and "Bookmarks" separate lists? One list like in KDE's Dolphin seems superior.

Items in places should be editable, maybe even go for multiple bookmark categories and have one bookmark category with default places items, but do whatever you want with it. Even nautilus can have everything removed from it's default places.

@abssorb please wherever on github use the +1 reaction instead of commenting +1. This helps save other's time and provides a better overview. Could you delete your comment and replace it with a +1 reaction on the original comment?

OK thanks, but that was quite hidden in the emoticons. Which I always associate with trivia. I had no idea that "thumbs up" actually has a functional effect.
