Ok, maybe it's not related to Night. I was able to solve it partially, by installing while my system was using the light theme. But still some windows are unusable.
hmm very weird. I don't think this is related to Night as I don't touch popup windows at all.
Which version of Zotero are you using?
In any case, you can try running /Applications/Zotero.app/Contents/MacOS/zotero -p
and create a new profile to see if its anything setting related. If this still breaks, then its certain that it isn't something that Night does, bc add-ons do not carry over between profiles.
Sorry for the fuzz. It wasn't Night related. I just guessed this, because it looked like a failure in a dark mode. Which it actually was. However, it was not Night, but the dark mode of macOS itself.
😅 glad it wasnt my bad haha
Today my Zotero started to look very weird. I started to used profiles some days ago, but no clue, if that is related. I had the night plugin installed and now I cannot use Zoter anymore, since it is mostly white text on very light background. Some stuff is completely black though. I deactivated and removed the Night plugin, but no success. I removed the .app file and also removed the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Zotero and the file ~/Library/Preferences/org.zotero.plist. After that I reinstalled it, but I had no luck. It's still unusable. Any ideas, if there could be any other settings files somewhere? It looks like Night has changed something, and I am not able to revert it.
I am in macOS Ventura (13.4.1)
