Can you add the ability to customize the background color of the PDF reading page #7

Hello, Can you add the ability to customize the PDF background color in Night Preferences, Reading PDF papers on a green background during the day is something to protect our eyes，just like this： image by hte way， when I used this theme to read the paper, the color of the picture in the paper was distorted, as follows： image The actual picture looks like this： image Best wishes

Unfortunately it won't be possible to not distort the pictures while making the background dark, the only way I know of doing this is by basically applying a filter to the whole page. Pdf as a format is kind of "dumb", so pdf readers don't have that granular control over the color of the text, at least the one used by zotero doesn't.

About custom colors: that could probably be added! Might be a bit janky, because it's not as a straightforward as "picking a color", but something close to that could work!

The problem of the picture is acceptable. When I heard that custom colors can be realized, I was very happy. Thank you very much!

I want the green background for zotero pdf reader too! And I found many discussion about the dark mode and background color in zotero forum. They found the main problem of green background is that the images's background remain to be white so it look s like ugly. But I do care this and I jsut want a green background! I am very happy when I found your work.
